Stale and tired
2005-09-15 - 8:59 a.m.I toasted a lost friend last night….I’d rather I didn’t have to, but it was an enjoyable, if sad evening.
Tonight will be more fighter practice if it doesn’t rain. If it rains, the Gym instead. (Since I blew that off last night for a nap instead). I’ve decided to move all my weight, fitness and fighting commentary to a private journal since it’s boring as all hell to read unless you are me.
Pointless, senseless young deaths are the worst to take. They make you angry…they make you feel so helpless and futile. This has been a suck year for that.
Today will more than likely be about more frantic phone calls from the accountant, trying to get the company’s taxes in order. Should be fun. I had to drive out to Mechanicsville twice yesterday, we will see how many, if any trips I have to make today…
Gas had finally fallen to just below $3 a gallon around here. Yippie. I can’t imagine how much it must be costing Janos and Rachel for this reign. Man alive. One more reason to be happy I’m not in that job! It’s good to be me right now!! ;-)
I honestly don’t know much about the two gubernatorial candidates for VA except that both of their names start with a K, and both have funny accents. Thanks right, Virginia, I have my finger on the pulse of progress!!!!
Er….what else…this is one boring entry.
I’m not going anywhere this weekend, now that is novel! No plans for Saturday at all at this point. On Sunday I will attend River’s Point’s Lunch on the Lawn for a fighter practice/BBQ but that is it. I guess I will make a dump run this weekend to take some of the debris from the mailbox fiasco. I might start butchering shrubs this weekend too. We will see. I’m feeling pretty run down/depressed and I need a little down time I think.
Maybe sitting down with a good book might be fun. I have a couple of ones to read fiction and non, so I have the means. Suggestions might be fun though, so offer some up. What the hell.
OK, it’s 9 now, time to call the contact’s place again….
