Short update here. Conjunctivitus is still kicking my ass, and since it has been going on since Oct. 1st, and since none of the other eye drops, antibotics, steriods or anything else seems to be fixing it I was referred to a specilist.
Funny thing was that I had seen this guy before, but it was like 10 years ago...He add all this old, old information...they would ask me is this still your address/phone/work phone...and I was like, holy crap! I remember that number!!!
Anyway, short story is that I had yet another eye drop, this one a steriod/antibotic mix. The pharmacist was very precisous about what to do.
1. Don't touch your eyes, ever.
When it is time to put the drops in (4 times a day for five days, then 3 times a day for five days, then 2, then 1...or when all the symptoms are gone) start by washing your hands. Then put in the drops.
2. If there is any seepage, wipe it with seperate towels for each eye, and then wash your hands.
3. If you get any of the drops on your hands, wash your hands.
If you have to touch your eye for any reason, wash your hands.
4. After putting in the drops, wash your hands...Do you see the general pattern?
Anyway, hopefully this course of action will fix this, because I am going a little crazy just lazing around. I can't really do any yard work, or really any house work, i've finished the novel I was reading ("The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay") and i've watched a ton of shitty, shitty movies.
The Family Guy DVD is the only things i've really enjoyed in like 10 films. Well, that is not true. Memento was mindblowing...but this last batch included "Shawn of the Dead", "Hitchhiker's" and "Jonny Mneumontic". (Who ever suggested the first two to me, please reach down and punch yourself in the nuts, and as for the Keeanu flick, well, it failed the Highlander test bigtime...)
I have been sleeping totally stupid amounts of time, now that I can finally sleep again, like 10 to 13 hours.
And I have a splitting sinus headache right now. Ugh.
Back to the billing, more tomorrow.
