2006-01-12 - 11:42 a.m.Unto those most worthy names of Janos and Rachel, Dread Sovereigns of the Fairest of Kingdoms, Atlantia, and to those worthy servants called the most noble Orders of the Laurel and Chivalry, and unto such other gentles of high birth as these letters present themselves.
Be it known that I, Bryce de Byram, Knight, Laurel and humble vassal of the Crown, shall take into my service two gentles of noble bearing and birth on Saturday, February 12th, the Feast Day of St. Julian the Hospitaler. The gentle Lady Fennic du Blayz shall enter my Hôtel as my Jongluerese (Apprentice) and likewise a certain gentlemen bachelor named Lord Hamish Stewart shall become my Esquire. Thus the old traditions shall be kept, for it shall be eleven years to the day when first I donned the livery of my knight, Duke Anton Tremayne, (God Save Him!) and went forth to serve as his vavassour.
The ceremony will take place at 9pm in the "Fish Lodge" at the 31st Tourney of Ymir. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served and a warm fire will blaze in the hearth so that we may gather and sing the old songs.Bryce de Byram, Miles et Litteratus
