Pre Lunch Rambles
2006-03-03 - 2:56 p.m.I've started posting a little on my livejournal account for those of you that know it.
I am going to keep both accounts open because they serve different needs. (and I have a fighting/workout account that is locked)
Bah Bah Bah...let's see...hmmm, it has been a Queit Week in Lake...er, wait a minute. It hasn't been that quiet. Anne is still in town after coming up for court, and surviving going to the barony meeting with us last night.
Kim and Her and hanging out today. I hope they are having a good time...
Me? I'm hanging in there. My hamstrings/quads are still rightously sore and stiff from last weeks workout/hike around Maymount.
We went to left a small stuffed bear and a white rose there at the makeshift shrine that has sprung up. :-(
Very sad, but cleansing.
This weekend I am going to try and make new ropes for all the new household tents I bought from Daemon. Maybe. That is the plan at least. I have to get them up and running by Sapphire since we are using several of them for the MoL, shower, etc.
I am looking forward to all these events and to pennsic. I got a lot of planning done (at least in my head) and registered me and kimmie today...
In other news. I'm broke. Heh. I have a stack of bills to take home with a big wad of cash for my wife to pay. She is the best.
DO de Do...what else....on sunday we are going to something that I think is called a 'presentation', like a chrising or baptism for the little girl of a baptist couple who are friends of ours. Plus we have to go to Mass too (committment to not skip any during Lent).
I am giving up TV Monday thru Thursday for Lent. Other stuff too,but it is private and frankly, I haven't decided all of how I am focusing this year.
I am still really conflicted about ToC and what to do then...
We saw "The Legend of Zorrro" last week on DVD and that a fun little mindless romp. Still haven't sat down and watched the Kurosawa film that Travis burnt for me either, and I haven't even cracked open my copy of Batman Begins (seen it...three times I think? but just not this copy).
Today is a meatless day so I'm hoping that my flaky co-worker will return soon so I can go to lunch.
I think i'm going to start a *shudder* Anne Rice book called Christ the Lord that my sister liked so much that she mailed it to me from Penns. Pray for me, Rice makes my teeth itch.
