Everybody must get stoned. 2006-03-07 - 10:15 a.m. From today's Gospel: “If you forgive men their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.” There is a story in the Gnostic Gospels that Nia told me about. It is an eloboration of the "He who cast the first stone" story. The Pharisee are complaining to Jesus that this women should be stoned for adultery and all the while he listens and draws in the sand with a stick. When the Pharisee finally stop talking and look at what he has drawn they see he has written out all thier sins. They withdraw. Forgive us our tresspasses, AS WE FORGIVE others.
