In other news.... 2006-04-11 - 10:02 a.m. So I’ve decided that I’m just not going to talk about Coronation. Forget it, drive on. It was a good event I think, and no one was hit by an oncoming train. Good enough for me. Was there drama? Very, very small amounts. Were their assholes, oh yeah. But once again, nothing that major. Overall it was a good experience. Highlights for me included heralding Coronation and First Court (which was a shock as Kyneburh asked me about 5 minutes before court started to do Coronation) and Seonaid telling me that I was ‘channeling Gyrth’ at one point, which made me so proud, I teared up. Last Tuesday I just collapsed. I was so tired I slept for almost an entire day. I’m just getting back to some sort of normal routine. This weekend we went to Tir-Y-don and hung out with old friends. Good times. Last night Kim and I filed our taxes together for the first time. Another first. Weird, but it was easier and much shorter than last year. Mostly that was because before last year I had never itemized before… Today I am going to get an allergy shot and hoping that I can get my cramping hip to relax. Stretching my lower back seems to help that so I need to remember to get up and do that several times a day. We had Bottoms Up Pizza last night, man was that crazy good. Way too many calories of course but F it. It was good. Today I had the worst breakfast I’ve had in a long, long time. I got these Sea Salt Rice Cakes a while back as a snack food, and since we are short staffed today I wanted to rush out the door this morning. I had portioned them out into ziplocks weeks ago and apparently, they went stale. Yuck. In a couple of minutes I am going to have another low cal snack to keep my sugar up so that hopefully I can get some work done here. This weekend is TOC (in the middle of Holy Week grumble grumble) and I’m the MIC. We also have some house guests coming up from NC so juggling that while trying to attend marathon mass sessions will be challenging. We still don’t have internet at the house. Thursday though, they are supposed to come out and look at the line. Maybe that will fix the problem. I foresee a large chunk of our Return going for a new computer though. Hurrah for that. I am posting more and more over on livejournal, simply because it is easy to use, and so many of my friends are over there now. Mostly they are little Memes and stuff like that. Nothing earthshattering. The ability to lock entries so easily though, is really, really satisfying. previous - next
