Day six
2006-04-21 - 1:55 p.m.

Thanks for the suggestions on how to kick the asperitmine (sp). I'm holding up ok on the sixth day. I don't really want the soda, but my body feels like crap. Some of this is allergy season stuff as well, but frankly, any time of the year would be bad for me allergy wise.

So i'm toughing it out. I know that if I can go two weeks I have it beat and mostly out of my system.

As to Splenda, my thoughts are this. Why trade one man made chemical crap for another? I know it is made from sugar, but i'm sure that it is what I want to be using.

I don't really drink coffee and I drink my tea unsweetened (at least in VA) I don't need sugar substitutes in that way.

I think I can make it. I really, really want some food but I am skipping lunch to run some errands today.

The crackers I had aren't holding up, time to see if I have another snack around here.

Last night some friends came over and we ordered pizza, as was the plan. I had pizza and beer and while it was lovely, I know that I'm only making my eventually goal that much harder to reach.

Also, for breakfast I had McDonalds crap since I knew I would be skipping lunch.

So i'm sorta snowballing on calories.
Tonight is dinner and drinks out so I know I totally screwed for today.

But overall, I am eating better, and trying to get healthy. It is just going to take a long time.
